Culburb is a cultural acupuncture treatment program taking place in the suburbs of Central European capitals. The project uses artistic interventions to help and catalyze the development of suburban communities and public spaces, and to understand the landscape and dynamics of agglomeration zones in region’s metropolitan areas.

Culburb has been initiated by CCEA, the Center for Central European Architecture in Prague with partner organizations in Bratislava, Budapest, Ljubljana, Vienna and Warsaw. Five projects have been selected for each location in the agglomerations of these cities in an international call, to be realized until April 2013.

For Budapest, Délegyháza has been selected as a location, coordinated by KÉK Center for Contemporary Architecture.

All interventions, documentation and added content are available on the central Culburb website.
